This announcement will have everyone seeing blue, or blu, depending on your vowel usage: the Blu-ray disc version of Sony's online shooter, Warhawk, exists after all and will come bundled with extra materials, including developer interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and a Bluetooth headset. Aside from distinguishing it from the PlayStation Network version of the game, the headset should prove handy if you're in a rush jump in and trash talk.

Warhawk will also have a public beta starting on May 24th. You can sign up at the official site, quite possibly by the time you're reading this. We had a lot of fun with this one at Sony's Gamers Day, and it should be even better once they the beta opens and all the fresh meat starts pouring it.

Finally, a BT headset. One, we know it will be compatible with future firmware updates and two, I'll have other people to speak to instead of feeling lonely and talking to myself :P

One thing I'm ticked off about... May 24th? How dare they! I'm on holiday then! haha.
 
I already have a BT headset. I just want more people to buy one and use it :( Hopefully this should boost figures.

I'm guessing instead of reducing retail price for the game (as it's online only) they'll just include the headset for free.
 
Im looking at getting one soon anyway saw one with a 30 hour charge while in use and something like 30 days stand by!! Think its this one Motorola H300 its about £30 does seem to to bad just gotta find out if it works with my PS3!

Wish I had held out and not bought the H350 (only cost 20 quid but not used it much as not many ppl online use BT headsets yet). Should have held out for the freebie with Warhawk.

I tried some before didnt like the battery life on most headsets but i like the idea of the motorola one with its 30 hour usage life and 30 days standby! It doesnt have a recharge facility, but just uses a AAA battery (could use a rechargeable one), dont want to wait till Warhawk is released before i get one!
 
I have that headset and it works sweet, once warhawk and the new socom come out ( looks sweet ) then you'll see more use the headset I know I will
