Ok,just had a nice £400 rebate from the tax office so going to get myself a nice PS3 as a treat :D

Been looking at some of the bundles and just wondering what one to get.....should i plump for the 160gb or jump in with the 320gb straight off?

Will i need the extra hd space? Been out the console scene for a while so any info will be appricated. :)

Ta.

Just get the cheapest one I have noticed not many games install to hard drive either but if you need more space just buy a 3rd party hdd better warranty on it too.

Get the cheapest 160gb deal.

yes simple just follow official instructions or guides on here.

Just make sure the 2.5" hdd you end up buying (and I'd say you probably wont ever buy one) #1 fits and #2 is 5400 rpm easy to find out just search what everyone else is putting in their ps3.

I'd just go with that in store £200 120gb ps3 slim deal or £234 320gb one.
Wouldn't bother with game bundles unless you find a really good deal with some latest games, so many of the best ps3 games are cheap as chips second hand in the members market.

160GB for £199.99 in the orange supermarket at the moment. Stock may be limited but the offer is going for a while so it's worth chasing.

With the prices as they are, I'f go for the 320gb model at the moment. There are some good bundles around.

Haha, that's such a coincidence, as I just got approx £400 tax rebate as well and haven't been sure on what to buy!

Yep, basic is a good choice! Get it ready for GT5! :D

Go for the lowest model as you can stick your own hard drive in and its so easy you can get like a 500 GB hard drive for £70 or less

I'm fighting the urge to purchase a PS3 and sell the HTPC. F1....GT5 and me vrs the Mrs on steering wheels would be epic. Added bonus of a Blue Ray and a PlayTV.
