if my ps3 will be on the ground floor and my router on the second floor (not the middle floor but the one above that, so ground - middle - top(top is where it wil be). Sorry just wanted you guy not to be confused. If my router is at the top floor and my ps3 is at the Bottom floor wat type of signal strenght will i be lookin at

If you can't get a good signal get some powerline network adapters to run the network through your mains, it's what I did when I was getting a poor connection over the wireless (1 floor up and the opposite corner of house) and it's spot on now :)

It really depends on the building your in. At my house in uni we used to be able to share between two houses. But say at my parent's house the router being downstairs i could barely get signal in my room upstairs! Expect the PS3's WiFi connectivity to have similiar limitations to your laptop or similiar.

Concrete floors or wooden floors, thick walls or thin walls, any electrical devices inbetween the two?

There area lot of vaiables that can interfere, I have my router on the ground floor and I once too a laptop with a wireless card to the loft and the signal strenght was almost zero but I could walk to the end of the garden 50 meters away and still have very good reception.

Will be fine,Im in the attic which is the top were my PS3/Wireless router is and the router reaches the PS3 that is downstairs fine granted not a full strength single but its still fine for use

So Top (router/ps3) - Middle nowt - Botom (2nd PS3 + Wii both connecting wirelessy all though wii gets better strength) = works. The router i use is a NETGEAR DGN2000 if that is any help

Only way you'll know is to try it. When I first went online had router & ps3 approx same distance apart as you & I got signal strength of around 30%, moved the router up a floor so it was on floor below ps3 & I get approx 60+% signal strength.
Thats not ideal but on the whole its been ok for gaming on ps3, xbox 360 though doesnt entertain idea, it doesnt like my BT home hub 2.0 :( Ordered some homeplugs for the xbox because I'm sick of dropouts & lag on xbox live, fingers crossed that solves it.
