A friend is whinging they can't connect their PS3 to the net and that Virgin Media doesn't support PS3 is this true?

Cause I don't believe it, and think they are a dirty liar!

:D

I don't have a PS3 and love my PC and Xbox 360 so can't test it. *hugs*

The VM Superhub has such terrible wireless. My 3DS and one of the phones in my house doesn't connect to it. Put it in modem mode and get a proper router.

Its possible he can't get his PS3 to connect to the net

but its not VM or the superhub's fault. Theres something else wrong.

VM very much do support PSN, as does the superhub.

User error.
Although the hub isn't the best wireless solution it works fine on my PS3, Wii and phone - or it did, till I moved and now have to settle for 5-7mb from my lovely 50mb in our old house.

Now I have to use an ethernet cable. Which also works on the PS3.

EA certainly blamed the Superhub for the connection failures on Ultimate Team. But as everyone has said, it certainly does work with the PS3 - it's just not very good wireless I've found.

Another '+1' for the PS3 working with the VM Souperhub (sic).....never had any issues with my setup, but agree that wireless performance on the hub (certainly earlier FWs) is poor......tbh, my PS3 is right next to the SH, so have always used an Ethernet cable....well, actually, as soon as VM released suitable FW, I started using my own router connected via SH Bridge mode !
