After over five years, my 80GB fat ps3 has finally died. I've got a few questions:

If I buy a 12GB slim, can I fit my current ps3's hard drive into it? Will all the data transfer across?

If I buy a new hard drive, how do I transfer data between the two? Ideally, I want to spend as little as possible to get a new machine...what's the best forward?

Fair enough, shame but thanks. To be honest, I don't think I'd lose much - I'm not midway through anything at the moment so I may just get a 12gb and let it format the drive.
