PS4 Amazon + Driveclub No Code

Alright guys, anyone purchased the ps4 deal off amazon recently for £279 with drive club and didn't receive the code for the game? Bit frustrating as this is false advertising from the forrest. I also have a screenshot of the deal and game.
 
Seen this mentioned quite a bit today, most have spoke to amazon and either got the DC value refunded or sent another code.
 
I had the same issue - called support and 30 mins later and 4 agents later I was told I would get a code but they are having issues and could take up to 48 hours.

This was yesterday morning so I am patiently waiting. Still no code.

I am going to trial my console for a few months and see what I think (was always an xbox boy) so only got 3 months PlayStation+ and if I don't like it I will trade it in and get an xbox 1 instead.
 
Ill be honest I am not really bothered by the why?/whats? etc. if they cant get me a code that was meant to be supplied with my product at least offer me a choice on what to do instead of offering me crappy LBP :(

Wouldn't have minded if it was something I had an interest in (like TLOU)

Yes I'm being grumpy and unreasonable at the moment! :P

No mate I think you have a valid grievance. You paid for something at the end of the day and the goods you received were not as advertised.

I think you have a strong case under consumer regulations there, particulalry as it was an online purchase and distance selling regs apply.
 
The thing is I don't want to return it or anything as I want the console.

Its just annoying as I would have liked the game to play the day I got the console.
 
I think you've got a right to complain..

lets go to the restaurant and order a steak, but no steaks so here's a pork chop instead...

keep complaining and hopefully you'll get the game you expected to get with your new games console.
 
Or they let you know its not available and offer an alternative or similar value as has effectively been done.

If that's not suitable then they can offer you the money back. I would presume they have advised you can return as it's within 30 days and not as expected. I'm sure it will get sorted out.
 
Well finally my issue has been resolved. Quite happy with the outcome.

So in short:

Amazon sent me a LBP3 code instead of drive club. I have no interest in this game at all so was quite annoyed about it.

They have offered a partial refund on the console (to just over the value of a disc based drive club) and have said i can keep the LBP3 code as good will also.
 
Good result, the code should net you around 30 quid maybe? Lbp3 is still a recnrt release, has to be 34 quid upwards still?

Well game has lbp3 at 46.99 yet Amazon have it listed at 29.99 so you'll get 25 quid for it if a buyer checks current prices online.
