PS4 and monitor?

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a PS4, I have a 1440p monitor with HDMI input.

How will this work, will it fill the screen and play at 1080p or is it hit and miss and could look rubbish?

Is it worth getting a Pro if I'm pairing with a monitor?

What's the best deals at the moment on either? I want play exclusives SP games like Uncharted series etc

what res is the monitor? No black bars or jitter or anything?

thanks, did you have to change any settings or does the monitor just do it itself?

still not sure if a Pro is worth the extra, I suppose its no different if its a monitor or TV

Cools thanks, I've been reading that its worth waiting until E3 as Pro prices might drop, not sure why but its not that long to wait really
