I replaced the two analogue sticks on the controller but am having issues putting it back together. When i put it together the touch pad wont press down.

All the videos on Youtube have a different interior to my PS4 controller annoyingly. There is a small plastic piece (left on first picture - hoping it wasn't a set of 2) which I cannot figure out where it is supposed to go. Any ideas? If anyone knows a video showing the same interior as mine that would be helpful.

Finally found a video which shows where it should sit - just ontop of the metal speaker chip.. Would never have known otherwise!

Spend the whole afternoon on this. The new sticks should be worth it though.

Unfortunately the touch pad is now unresponsive so I had to buy a new controller.

This one works after replacing the sticks and looks great:

The sticks are ZedLabz aluminium alloy and are great since they wont wear out unlike the original rubber ones.:)

The case is awesome on those, did you do those yourself as well? Would love to change the shell on one of my controllers as it's a bit grotty.

I bought a PS4 controller shell from China a year or two ago for a fiver. The fit for the complete shell wasn't great but the face of the controller was ok. It is pretty easy to change over.

The ones they sell now might be better.

Nice, might have to give it a go. Miss the retro feel of see-through cases :D
