Not move, copy. When installing a new game on more than one ps4, it's a real pain having to download it twice. I know that you can use externals as storage for installations now, but I don't want to move the files, I Just want to copy the downloaded installation to another ps4. Does anyone know if this is possible please, and if so, how?

Thanks

Yep it can't be done unfortunately.

At the moment at least the PS4 cannot even handle a game install existing in two places. If you have a game installed in your internal drive and then connect an external drive which also has the same game installed it will force you to delete one of them before you can use the external drive.

From my recent experience, games I had installed on the ext drive on my PS4, appeared as installed games on my PS4 Pro, when I reconnected the drive.

Whether that's an option for you - I assume that it worked like this, as I changed the Pro to my primary console...

He basically wants to use the external drive as an installation media, not like you described.
