PS4 Hard drive replace the replacement or Pro

My 2tb seagate ps4 hard drive expansion has bitten the dust 2 months out of warranty. Game locks up, with a flashing blue light and then when I got back to the dashboard it locked again when I went to view storage.

I'm now back on the original 500gb drive so just wondering what new HD to get or trade in for a pro, currently on 1080p but the tv upgrade maybe on the cards this year and the Pro is tempting me with its super sampling which could make an upgrade worth it, any thoughts?

Seagate Firecuda SSHD.

I personally though use a 1TB SSD internally and a 3.5” Seagate Firecuda in a powered enclosure as a supplementary drive with my Pro.

Using a 1TB Crucial SSD in my PS4 Pro, working great, no complaints.

I use a One X on a 1080p TV, the downsampled output looks great.

Ran a pro at 1080p till I got the 4k screen. As said supersampling is great. Boost mode worked well on certain titles too.

How's the fan noise levels when its boosting/super sampling?

Seems to on mine, RDR2 loads really rapidly compared to how long it took with a HDD.
