PS4 HDD

Has anyone experienced the strange HDD size on the PS4? I upgraded the HDD to a 1tb SSHD and the usable space was 862GB, now it says 860GB. Seems to keep going down.

OS takes a chunk for captures, pressing the share button eats HDD space. More you use share the more HDD space it uses, my 500GB was only 480 free space due to this, even without me pressing the share button, it has a system reserve which does suck but its just the way its been designed .

1 kilobyte = 1024 bytes not 1000

ive had the same problem, i just put it down to OS being greedy.
