Ps4 login problem

This is weird to say the least!

Just turned my ps4 and its asking me to log on. I attempt to log on but it says my sign in id is invalid (my email address) Nothing has changed my end any ideas please?

According to Sony "it happens sometimes". You have to give them a call to sort it out.

Thanks for the info, I'll give it a go. Have to call them tomorrow as email invalid according to Sony...........sigh..........

Sounds like someone has hijacked your account and changed the email address associated with it.

Check your inbox and you'll probably have an e-mail from Sony saying the address has been changed.

You'll need to contact their support to report it as soon as you can.

If it has indeed been hijacked, make sure you put 2Step on where it sends a code to your phone before you login. It makes it a lot more secure.

Well just got off the phone to Sony and yes, my account had been hacked. My email address being replaced with a Spanish one. Luckily nothing untoward has happened to my account. Sony seem to feel they can trace the 'hacker'. I have as an added security measure added 2step. Thank you all for your assistance, it's greatly appreciated.
