PS4 Not powering on after taking apart?

I basically took apart my console apart to correct the HDMI.

After reconnecting the console the HDMI was working fine, and the console powered on.

However shortly after it would not power back on..? any ideas on a fix, or should I just dismantle and use for parts.

No, I own a LG smart tv

When you say "To correct the HDMI" what do you mean? You replaced the HDMI port?

Sounds like you may have a short or possibly a soldered bridge if it wont start.

Nothing major; I had to remove the casing and bend the metal for the hdmi port as there was no image showing due to an error with the metal being bent blocking connection…

But after reconnecting it and screwing everything back in .. it only powered on once months ago.. been sat there ever since

Could be a number of things tbh had quite a few PS4's that have failed after somebody fiddling with the HMDI

- Could be port, could be encoder, could be that something else is bad

I'm not a techy at all but it sounds like you broke your console. Upgrade to ps5 if you can.
