I have a xbox one pre order and now decided i want a ps4 also :)
Is there anywere that can guarantee a release day console or some were i can pick up on release day ?

I've got an order with Tesco myself but no idea on the delivery date :(

Can't see anything on the Shopto website which states day one delivery.

Game in Newcastle had stock available for day one collection this morning but I didn't like their bundles.
 
From what I hear the yields have been soo good production has been increased and there should not be a problem buying at launch from anywhere. I also hear that online stores should be getting enough for preorders as well as substantial stock.
 
Excellent news, and it would be a bonus if the profiteering muppets that normally profit out of console launches get screwed over :D
 
game are only offering pre Xmas dates now so I took the offer but will keep looking locally as they said its transferrable to anything else in store so if I pick one elsewhere I'll just get a game or psn voucher.
 
That Killzone bundle is only for those who already paid a £20 PS4 pre-order deposit. Shopto says nothing about release day?

Do you have the URL to that text? If I follow the bundle link and read the description it talks about XB1 delivery before Xmas.

I have preordered with Zavvi last night as they stated delivery on release day for the KZ bundle. Looks like that is now out of stock also.
 
Click on the link and scroll down to the 'Delivery Promise' section. It shouldn't say anything about Xbone.

EDIT: So apparently between my previous post and this one, they have changed the website text to:

Please note all pre orders for PS4 are guaranteed for Christmas although at this stage we do not know the exact delivery date. We strongly recommend placing your pre order and we will keep you informed of your expected delivery date.

Yeh I pre-ordered in July, so I got my £20 coupon and used it to get the Killzone Bundle for £365 (£385 including my original £20 deposit/coupon).
