PS4 pro 4k Samsung

I've got the Samsung KS7000 the 49" version and the ps4 pro. It's absolutely gorgeous. So I recommend it very highly. Some people go for the 55" version but this was good enough for me. It really is wonderful.

The KS7000 is very difficult to come by now I think. You may have more luck with the KS7500 which is essentially the same but curved. I'm in the market for one myself.

KS7000 55" here, absolutely stunning with the PS4 Pro, keep in mind they need a bit of tweaking to enable the HDR etc. Does look like they're hard to come by now though, as stated above the KS7500 is the same but curved.

Great TV, I have the 55" KS7000. It does have one issue though that seems to pop up a lot, the handshake system (or I think that's what's doing it) keeps making the screen go black for a second or 2. Only while gaming but it's very irritating and only seems to get worse with the new updates.

Everything else is spot on though.

Not had that myself and I've used mine quite heavily for the 3 months I've had it. Are you on the latest firmware update?

Yeah, I've had 2 updates since I got it. One was the other week. Suprisingly it didn't do it on the firmware that it came with but newer ones made it start happening. Like I say it's only with the PS4 Pro, maybe to do with HDR, handshake or... I'm out of idea's. It was only doing it on HDR games at first but now it's normal games too. Been playing Rainbow 6 Siege and it's been going blank at the most annoying moments. Sometimes it's every 20 minutes or so.

Maybe it's just a PS4 issue, I really have no idea and I've spent hours googling. The general consensus is it's a Samsung/Sony issue between compatibility but no-one knows what's causing it.

The TV is a beast though when all's well.

Ah that does sound really annoying. I've had 2 Firmware updates, the same as yourself, with the recent one being a few weeks back. Not had any issues with the PS4. I played it so much over the weekend (Crash Bandicoot :D) that the TV prompted to go in to standby 3 or 4 times as it was on for so long, not noticed anything apart from that. Hope you manage to get it sorted.

It'll probably get sorted at some point. I'll have it for a few more years yet. It's still not enough to put me off the TV in the long run.

4K and HDR content is gorgeous on this TV. When the Xbox 1 X comes along all third party games should start being developed from the ground up with HDR in mind as both systems will be using it so it will only get better. Horizon Zero Dawn looked great at night with the moon shining on everything.

I had the screen blanking out when I was trying out my Pro on my dad's Hisense TV. Very random. Sometimes twice in the space of ten minutes, other times nothing for an hour or two.

I have the 43" ks7500 which is curved.

I was gobsmacked when I saw uncharted 4 on it. It looked absolutely glorious.

Fantastic tv. Not only is it great for gaming, but the freesat software is very fast, the guide loads quickly. And you can also hook up a hard drive to record from freesat while you game on your PS4.

The Netflix and amazon video apps work really well too.

I don't think I've got a single complaint about mine. (Other than the source changing over to the Nintendo switch randomly. But that's the switch not the tv)

If you are having screen blanking/handshake issues, try replacing your HDMI cable or check the HDMI ports doesn't have dust inside.
