PS4 -> PS5 Upgrades

For games that come with the free upgrade, can this be used multiple times? e.g. if you sell on the PS4 disc. I thought you could but just saw something conflicting.

yes but the requirements for most games is that the disk has to be in the drive. So once you sell it only the buyer can then play the game.

Yep, the PS5 does a disc check to confirm the PS4 game is in the console then boots the PS5 game otherwise it will asks to insert the disc first.

It's a great way to get bargains, I did it with valhalla, fenyx , nioh 2, borderlands 3 , division 2. If you keep your eye on ebay, vinted and second shops you can get many ps4 versions with free ps5 upgrades for less than £15.
