PS4 - Too many USB Devices Connected

Hi,

I've tried everything I can think of - I've unplugged the PS4 and left it, restarted, nothing.

I can't rebuild the database in safe mode because when I plug the controller in via the cable nothing happens.

The controller is fully charged as I've plugged it into a wall socket via a USB adapter.

Any ideas as to what I can do? I bought it in 2013 so it's well out of warranty.

Try an alternative cable or port.

Otherwise try a different controller.

If you have a powered USB hub you could plug that to the ps4 USB socket and connect the controller to the hub (this should draw less power from the ps4 itself).

Thanks, tried a different controller. I do have a power usb hub, I'll try that.
