PS4 & Turtlebeach X12 issues.

So I read online that I would be able to use my X12's with my PS4, all that I'd have to buy would be a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for the headphone wire.

So I went ahead and did just that, it arrived today, but it did not work what so ever and I'm just a little bit baffled as to why this may be. It just states that when I plug in the wire, it says that it's not detected when clearly it should be. It did in-fact work for the guy on the Video that I watched over on Youtube.

Has anyone else tried to use this work around and had better luck than I have?

What cable did you buy?

I take it you are talking about voice comms?

I believe the one you have does not work because it's incompatible (note the one you showed has two black lines on it, and the TB one has three).
