When he connects on his phone/laptop, does he have to log in to use the internet?
the other option as mentioned is it may just be a MAC address issue, however if he connects his laptop to the same network TAP he's tried his PS4 in it more than likely isn't that unless they've blocked that MAC address (of the PS4)
