Definitely worth picking up a Pro over the regular PS4. There is an additional boost mode which helps with framerate for quite a lot of games. Also the '4K' games can be downscaled. I think most typically run at 1440p or below, but display at 4K resolution. Some trickery with checkerboard rendering as well.wow, faster clocked cpu, 1 gig extra ram although dunno why its ddr3? and gpu power seems to be doubled.
so just runs games at 4k? any difference if you dont have a 4k tv ?
wait, dont these consoles run games at locked 60 fps?Definitely worth picking up a Pro over the regular PS4. There is an additional boost mode which helps with framerate for quite a lot of games. Edit: If you have any interest in PSVR, the Pro is a must.
60fps on console? What is thatwait, dont these consoles run games at locked 60 fps?
Buy a ps5 for better frame rates in most games.wait, dont these consoles run games at locked 60 fps?
This. No point getting a PS4 Pro at all unless its like 100-150quid.If you going to buy a console, pay the extra and get an PS5 as its over 2 years old now and it can play most PS4 games.
