PS4 vs Xbox 360 controls for BF4

Hi guys, I am still playing BF3 on my PC, though i have played 1st person shooter on my then PS1 or PS2.

My sister handed me her XBOX 360, so I purchased BF4 for it. My problem is the controls. It is very difficult to use the xbox controller, where as far as I can remember, it was easy on the PS (I played Metal gear solid and Syphon filter).

I am able to return this game but they will only change it with the same game, but it could be on a different platform. I was thinking of PS4 platform (I know this game is loads better on a PC). This will be for the bedroom though.

Question, will the controls be better and a lot controllable on PS4 vs XBOX ?

tbh it'll be about the same. I am equally bad with the 360 controller (BF3) and the PS4 controller (BF4)! Still great fun though and it looks a lot nicer on the PS4 with the added benefit of 64 player maps.

You do get better if you're willing to put the hours in.

what I find really difficult is the aiming (right joystick0.... it takes me ages to do it.. is there a setting I could change or a technique? I have been playing for a few days and I get really frustrated.
