Hope someone can help

I have an HDMI cable in the wall going to my Panasonic TX-65DX902B TV

This cable was connected to the output of an AV amp, connected into the AV amp was a PS5, Sky Q Box and a Nintendo Switch, no issues at all, ever.

AV amp was a big one, which I've sold along with my speakers, impending house move, declutter, free up a few quid blah blah

For time being I bought an HDMI switch - Kinivo 3 in & 1 out - supports all the resolutions and HDR, but doesn't do 120Hz but neither does my TV so that's fine.

The Switch and Sky box work perfectly into this HDMI switch, but the PS5 is frequently dropping out, black screen, loses handshake for 3 or 4 seconds then comes back. Happens in game and in the PS5 menu

If I connect the HDMI cable in the wall direct to the PS5 this doesn't happen, it only occurs via the HDMI switch.

The cable going from the PS5 to the HDMI switch is the one that came with the PS5. I have tried all 3 inputs on the switch and turned off auto switching on the switch too, all the same.

Is the switch broken, rubbish or is there a setting on the PS5 I need to change? HDMI Device Link has been on and off, drop outs occurs both ways and all the other video settings are pretty much default.

The image on the PS5 looks fine, no better or worse than direct to the TV or how it was via the AV amp.

I can obviously send this switch back and try another, any recommendations or pointers?

Ta :)
