Hey,

I have a 1TB WD BLACK SN850 NVMe that id like to chuck in my PS5 for extra storage.

Its just the bare Nvme drive though,Ideally id like to fit a Heatsink and know the WD Black drive that come with a Heatsink pre-installed do fit in the PS5 but mine doesn't have one and you cannot seem to buy the Heatsink desperately from what it seems. :(

Would any of the ones in the OCUK store fit?

Cheers.

I picked up one of these for my WD SN750. Few places sell them.

Oh,okay cool..did you use it with a Sabrent drive or another vendor? :)

I was thinking of this,as their product page says it fits the PS5.
It was my Western Digital.

The MC1 Pro M.2 cooler is exactly the same one I use in my PS5 :)

I have the exact same drive in my PS5 and i used the cheapest one i could find. It was about a fiver I think and doesn't seem to be an issue.

I have seen one called "ElecGear PS5 NVMe SSD Heatsink, EL-P5C" which seems to be catered to the exact airflow path for that area and has a much bigger thermal mass than other standard ones. It is however about £24.

Cool,a friend of mine is also planning to add a nvme to his PS5 but has a tight budget so i have shown him this. :)

That looks perfect,i dont mind the price because its a one off cost and id prefer to keep it as cool as possible for the longevity of the drive if anything.
