PS5 with Discord or Teamspeak

Has anyone had any luck getting PS5 to work with Discord or Teamspeak on PC or smartphone? I bought PS PULSE 3D Wireless Headset but realised it's useless for this kind of set up as it only has wireless connection and as soon as you plug in an audio cable it automatically cut out the wireless connection.

I know that there are wireless and bluetooth capable headsets out there and wondering if thats something worth investing in?

Any help or advice is appreciated

So you want 2 audio inputs? Like game sounds from console and then voice chat from PC?

I believe you can easily do that with a astro mixamp, I've owned several mixamps but never tried this personally.

Plug the optical lead into the console and then the USB into the pc.

You then also have independent control over both volumes too so can increase and decrease them seperately.

I don’t believe any of the next gen consoles have optical ports now.

Wow. I suppose everything is moving to arc and hdmi.

I believe you could then use optical out of the TV if it has one then.

Or you're going to need a stripper which takes optical out from hdmi and a splitter. Probably best using TV optical out.

Yeh it’s one of the reasons I have held off with upgrading at the moment.

I’ve been using the Astro mixamp with both my Xbox and PC for years which has been fantastic. I think they have all gone down the HDMI route as you suggested.

Unfortunately I’m still yet to find a nice solution!

I was thinking of something like SteelSeries Arctis 9X headset. It has wireless + bluetooth. So the isea is to connect to PS5 wirelessly and to Discord on my phone with Bluetooth.
It does work with XBOX but I am not sure if it does work like that with PS.
