Hello guys, I could really use some help.
So about a week ago Youtube on my PS5 started failing to load up, I'd get the little animation etc but then it just gets stuck on either a black or grey screen or I can see all the videos but there's no interface and I can't select any of them. If I try playing from the one from the PS5 home screen, its either the black screen or a greyed out image of the video with the play bar visible but totally none responsive. Every now and then however with mashing buttons on the control it will decide to play a video and then the app will work fine until the next time it closes down.
So far I've tried restarting the system, closing down the app and restarting it. I've tried uninstalling the app, turning the PS5 off all together and booting it back up, reinstalling the app and the problem still persists. I've done this several times. All software and firmware is up to date and the only thing on the PS5 error log is "can't load app or game" there's no reason given. It's bizarre, all other games and apps work perfectly. I can't seem to find away of downloading an older version of the app on the PS5 to see if it's that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
