Since I've built my Ryzen rig it's had this annoying problem where it'd freeze up for a few seconds (music would stop playing, mouse would freeze and everything would just stop for upto 10 seconds), I've sort of lived with the issue as I've been too busy with work to really do anything about it. The GPU (XFX AMD Fury) did have other issues and actually completely gave up about a week ago. My boss recently got me a new GPU and since installing it the problem has completely gone away, I've ran UE4 engine compile, 25 rounds of Cinebench and a couple of hours of a Prime95 just to be sure and it's been flawless.
I thought I'd post this because I've spent hours trying to track the issue and even more hours rifling through the BIOS and messing with RAM timings to try to track it down with no hope.
