PSD's & OsCommerce?

Recently downloaded a OsCommerce template and I see it is packaged with a PSD with what is bascially the front page of the shop. Is it possible to edit bits of the frontpage (as it is default) to what I want it to be then save it somehow, and the images are changed in the /images/ directory of the folder?

I'm finding this quite confusing, obviously working with a PSD file will be much easier than working with each of the files in the image directory seperately, saves a lot of time infact.

So how does this work guys, I know there must be a way because otherwise what would the PSD file be doing there

Hoping you can help me here!

Many thanks - Dharok

presumably they are sliced layers in the PSD, so yes. Just save it and it will save the slices as their correct filenames.

I saved the PSD file but the images didn't change. I believe they are sliced layers in the PSD though, as there is about 150 layers due to it being a template. Any help :|?

you have to change the images by exporting from the psd again and changing the images. it doesn't read from the psd that is just to help you edit
