PSN avatar - how to change?

OK, so this one has had me puzzled all weekend. If you look at a PSN profile, there is an avatar attached to it. I'm not on about your profile picture - mine is the same as my Facebook one and I'm happy with that.
I'm on about the "cartoony" avatar that I'm assuming I selected when I first setup my PSN account.
I've been into my PSN account and I just cannot find where to change this.

So for example, my profile is here:

There is the avatar at the top, next to my name with the Playstation Plus icon in the top left corner.
Where can I change that?

If you download an avatar from the store I think you can do it directly from that too

Settings > Account Information > Profile > Avatar

Change it in the app.

Thanks guys. I just assumed it would be something I'd be able to do from my PSN account on the computer, alas for some reason it is not.
So those wasted hours over the weekend - I was never going to get it done
