Got signed out bout 30 minutes ago and haven't been able to login since, router and connection are fine. Connection test fails at playstation network part, anyone else having problems?

PSN have been "performing intermittent maintenance" for the past couple of days. In other words, Anonymous have been hammering them.

Error 80710D36?

These Anonymous people really are tosspots. How does stopping normal people playing online hurt sony? It just annoys everybody else!

I can connect to PSN but can't do anything once I'm on, it's times like this that I wish PSN was a paid for service, then they would have a legal obligation to sort it out, as it is they are just letting it run the distance and see what happens

Yeah it was abit unpredictable last night, I got d/c a few times while playing MS:A, it seemed to calm down for me after 9pm though. It was pretty poor the other night, I did think it was my wireless so I moved the PS to plug it into the router and I was still getting a d/c or not being able to connect at all.

The hackers are doing it just to tarnish Sonys service, if customers can't connect and Sony can't fix the problem quickly they may lose customers to other consoles. Some customers do pay for a service called PS Plus, so I'd imagine those people are pretty miffed to be paying for something that isn't working!!

It means people can't spend money on PSN.

Sony will be making money on a per minute basis on PSN, so every minute they are down is money lost.

Anonymous is not attacking the PSN at this time. Sony’s official position is that the PSN is undergoing maintenance. We realize that targeting the PSN is not a good idea. We have therefore temporarily suspended our action, until a method is found that will not severely impact Sony customers.

lol
