PSN Freezing

My PSN Store freezes whenever I select any game - it looks the info screen then crashes and I have to hard reset

I have looked online and a few have this problem but I an unable to find a solution

Has anyone managed to resolve this annoying issue?
 
It's a slim with, I think, the original 120gb drive that I have owned from new
I did purchase a bigger hdd as a replacement but never got round to swapping it out

I've tried file restore etc from the safe mode menu but nothing seems to work

I can still play online and download stuff if I use the pc but it's still really annoying
