Risk Factions is ok, those prices are a little underwhelming after the Steam sale though. It's a shame that XBL and PSN doesn't do such an awesome sale :(

pc games have always been a lot cheaper than console games, think it has to do with licensing costs or something? im pretty sure sony or microsoft get a cut of every game sold on their console whereas on a pc the developer doesn't need to give a cut to anyone apart from maybe steam, so prices are a lot cheaper.

i think on average PC games are 25-50% cheaper than console versions at launch.

Crysis for £7.99?

Is that worth a shout (anyone tried it)?

Just what I was thinking. Also interested in deathspank & burnout if anyone has views on both.

Nice additional discounts for being a plus member :)

You are correct, it's all down to how much sony/MS want to pass the games on to the public, so to speak. As well as PC being cheaper, you can also see a difference between PSN and XBL if you look around. For example Dirt 3 is £23.99 on PSN, £29.99 on XBL. I'm sure others are more expensive on PSN vs XBL too.

Back OT, does anyone know if the Need for speed super bundle include all the DLC available?

Dont need to be - unlike Steam they just dont have the competition when it comes to digital downloads :(

Surprised no one mentioned the PSN Xmas sale which had a lot more 'offers'

Deathspanks the gem in this sale...

Think Im interested in Burnout Crash, Crysis, Risk Factions and the ME2 DLC. Is the Dead Space 2 DLC any good?

i find that when playing risk factions everyone seems to have a mic, you get some great banter going on, just like when playing poker on xbox live.

last night i had a game with a drunk welshman an irishman and a canadian, with me being scottish the banter was pure comedy gold.

after that i was playing with americans, a noobie was also playing, who had no clue how to play, he kept skipping his shot, we had to walk him through what to do, but then when it came to his next shot, he forgot again, we didnt catch on to the fact he was most likely drunk, because after 6 or 7 shots he stopped playing and 30 seconds later cue the loudest snoring the world has ever heard coming down the mic for the next 45 minutes, we were all laughing our heads off, because he managed to barricade another player and totally mess his mojo up, i was leading, but then the other 2 decided to gang up on me and my forces got stretched and beaten badly.

still to come up with a good strategy for risk, i think you need to slowly build up and only cash in when your either in trouble or know you can wipe out and safely guard your land.

Crysis is fine on the consoles, even more so if you enjoyed it on PC and want to play it from your sofa. I paid 20 dollars for mine and I've definitely buy it for £7.99 if I hadn't already.

thinking about picking up playstation plus and buying a load of games if they are cheaper using the discount.

games im looking at are poker for me and bomberman, worms, etc for the fiancee. also some more fun offline multiplayer games which are easy to pick up. anyone know of any similar to bomberman/worms? easy pick up and play games, full of fun.

risk is enjoyable add me if you guys fancy a game - PsychoSonny

PS Plus is worth it, you can get it cheaper than the normal £39.99 just buy PSN cards online - there is also an offer on at the min you get a few months free on the 1 year sub.

Worth it alone for the extra games you get, loads of new games and dlc have extra discounts aswell.

for poker you could try High Stakes Poker Edition.

Lemmings could be one to try alongside worms etc. critter crunch is a nice little (and addictive) game

Found out its a stripped version of the 2007 Sega Rally Revo if that sways your thoughts (I decided against it, memories are always better :p) - loving the new sale, glad I only picked up NBA Jam and the ME2 DLC now
