PSN Network Question

Trying to sort out my internet connection for my PS3

When i test connection

Playstation Network - Failed ?

Any clues ?

There was a firmware update very recently, go to your settings and hit system update. If you aren't up to date that's why you can't sign in.

PSN is currently down for maintenance.

Yep, the first thing you should do if you're getting errors connecting is check Playstation.com and make sure there isn't any maintenance or anything going on.

Oops, sorry fellas I didn't realize! Usually something appears on Twitter if there is maintenance and they didn't tweet this time or I simply missed it.

At least it happens when I am at work on nights
