PSN question

When I signed up for PSN I didn't really put much effort into thinking of a decent name and now I want to change it. Will I have to create a whole new account or can I change the name of it? One thing stopping me from just making a new one anyway is that I paid for and downloaded Tekken using this one, if I make a new one will it delete it or something?

Have you tried going to Users in XMB and renaming from there? press triangle and click information you can rename your username, although I'm not sure if it affects your online tag or is just for your local username.
