PSN Question

I have a really simple question concerning the Playstation Network and the PSP. I have a PSPGo and I'm about to download Metal Gear Solid for the PSP, but it has to be from the American PSN because it's not yet been released on the European store. Will there be any problems in me downloading/playing the game on my PSP?

Cheers in advance, and while I wait replies I'll do a Google search too, so I'm not totally lazy.

I don't know wether the registering of the PSP is an automatic process, but when I created my ID to log into the Playstation Store, I don't remember it asking me the number of my PSP or anything like that?

I'll have to do a little more Googling, but I'm desperate to get the old classics on my PSP

It's a shame they haven't released MGS on the European store yet because it's one of my favourites.

EDIT: The American store lets me log in with my European account, I'm not sure wether this means I won't have to switch accounts to play the game? But I'm just downloadng an update for Media Go and then I'll report back here on how it goes.

GAHHH! When you try and download it obviously isn't available on the European store so that isn't working, which means it looks like I'll have to do the above and switch accounts when I want to play. Hardly seems worth the hassle even though it's one of my favourite games of the last 12 years.

Ahhh thanks. I think I may wait until this game is put onto the European store then. It seems like a lot of hassle just to play one game. I wish they'd just make it easier, or even give us the games that we're missing out on. It hardly seems fair at times.

Ohh.

I thought that it came out on the American store this year, and the Japanese store in 2008. I was kind of hoping that we'd have it by Christmas, if it doesn't come out in the next few months then I'll see about doing the American thing, if only I'd have known before hand I would have downloaded all my games from the American store.

Definitely. Who decided that "Disney's A Bugs Life" on the PSX is a classic game and worthy of a place on the store over Gran Turismo or MGS? It's absolutely pathetic. We pay more, we get less and we always come back for more. Way to slap us in the face over here Sony.
