Does any one eles hear suffer from it?

I hear it's quite common yet I have not met anyone else with it. I have suffered with it On my scalp for about 12 years and is only now starting to spred to my forehead and ears :(

*This is not a medical advice thread*

Yeah I am currently looking at. Using a UVB comb and I have heard about that dovo oil, on some people it will work fine for a few days then it comes back twice as bad :(

Go and see your GP, see if he can refer you for light treatment. This has worked wonders for my dad. He's suffered with it for years, but it's now virtually gone! He's got a wicked suntan from the light treatment too.

He's also going to trial a new light treatment with a different spectrum, which may help more so in the long term.

Yeah I did go to my gp and got sent for UVB light treatment and it was working great but stopped cos it was 20 min drive to the hospital every other day and it made me my boss not very happy at me and that's fair enough really

So going to buy one for my self to use at home, but the new spectrum that your dad is getting does spins very interesting and I hope it works out for him :)

Scalp and beard/chin for me, sometimes ends up going around my back/shoulders too.

Right pain in the ass, tbh. Look like some kind of flea-bitten mongrel scratching my head in the office all day trying not to flake near people.

It gets particularly bad around the front hairline, ie. across forehead and down sideburns. :(

Mind you, I've never bothered seeing a doctor about it. Perhaps should.

The doctors use you as gunipigs, try this cream, try this and that, will take a while and will be annoying, what I found was the creams worked for a while then I kinda got immune to it, and it stopped working  so I stopping going as I was getting annoyed but the lit treatment is the one to calm it down

I Appreciate everyone who has posted in here, for some people it's a very depressing condition I hope everyone will one day find a treatment that will work for you :)
