Hello!

I know this can probably be googled really easily but I am at work at the moment and they block 99% of game websites grrr

I have a PS3 and thinking of getting a PSP especially as I have a long flight for my holidays this year :(

Question: I have downloaded FFVII for the PS3...will I have to re-buy it for my PSP or is it a case of just downloading it on to my PSP? also my PSP doesn't need to be connected to the PS3 to play it does it? (MY wireless barely makes it downstairs let alone across the Atlantic!!)

Thanks!

You won't need to rebuy it

IIRC you can hook the PSP up via usb and transfer FFVII to its memory stick. (i'll just go and test that now, brb)

[EDIT] Yep, you can copy it.

You can just attach PSP and copy it across. Same with the save games too. No need to be connected to actually play it.

I think you pair up your device
Go to game in the menu and triangle -> copy to move it across (PSP must be USB attached and set to USB mode btw)
Then go to the PS/PS2 card management section and copy your game save across as well.

Fantastic! Thanks guys....I got some Argos vouchers to use so might pop into Argos on the way home!

How good is the battery on the PSP...likely to last the majourity of a 11 hour flight?

Depends on usage; playing from UMD's with the screen on max brightness it's around 4-5 hours for me. Playing from the memory stick with lower screen settings increases it to around 6 hours max.

Either way it won't last the entire journey.

3 - 6 when gaming, depending on screen brightness. Although I have a fattie, not sure what battery ships with the newer models.

11 hours is too much, I would say 4 to 5 hours is the max, if you really want to play 11 hours a 2nd battery is needed.

Lol its a good point though...you'd think they would have put plugs in planes by now? trains do!!
Would just add to the cost of flights if they did that and I'd rather the fares didn't go up any more! I'll happily order another £5 PSP battery before paying an extra £50 just to have a plug socket :p
