PSP: Anyone got a dodgy On/Off switch?

I've had my PSP for almost a year now and it was perfect up until a number of weeks ago. Basically the switch doesn't really want to budge sometimes and can be quite hard to move It's almost like it is jammed with a bit of dirt. But sometimes it is fine. I suspect that the spring is buggered. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem or had found a cure for it :confused:

I dont really turn mine on enough for it to break! Never had a problem with it though, maybe open it up?

Try using a hoover to suck out the dirt (possible ones in there) or add a bit of wd40?

Be careful with a hoover it may suck the LCD and go funny, that happened to me with a phone before so dont do it lol!

I phoned Sony Playstation Ireland today and they are sending a courier to give me a new one and pick up the old one tomorrow.
