A friend is getting this for me from the USA today, should have it early next week. After being delayed for a year, this game looks like it has some absolutely amazing features...

I imagine it will play like Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights (except they are both based on D&D 3.0 IIRC)

Anyone else looking forward to playing a really in-depth RPG on the PSP? Something on the PSP to actually get your teeth into...?

Baldur's Gate was AD&D, BGII was a mish mash of AD&D with D&D3 elements thrown in (classes mainly IIRC), NWN is D&D3 and NWN2 is D&D3.5...

What does everyone think of D&D4 btw?

Been playing the game for about 10 hours now. I can imagine if you've never played any dungeons and dragons based games before that it would be pretty impossible to play as the included manual barely tells you anything.

Anyways, the game is pretty addictive so far, it's a nice little RPG.

Niggles include certain missing feats, moving the party one-by-one through certain sections (would be much better to be able to grab them as a group and have them in a marching formation or something), and the camera would be awesome if you could lower it a bit more to get a better idea of line of sight etc.

Like I said though, it's pretty cool so far, lots of depth and you have to think and plan for the harder encounters (like you should) as well as having a good group equipped properly. That said, because it's D&d 3.5, you could probably rinse it by having a group of 5 clerics and a rogue lol.
