I have just bought the PSP and was playing last night for the fist time and noticed to be what looked like a dead pixel, oh god I thought not already but on closer examination it was a piece of dust underneath the screen, It's really annoying.

I suppose the only way to get it out is by taking off the faceplate but I lnow that once you do that more dust will get in :-(

Has anyone else suffer from dust behind the screen?

Mate of mine got rid of his by taking it apart in the kitchen where there wasn't much dust due to no carpet and the like then spraying some of that canned air lightly on the screen as he closed it.. seemed to work a treat.

That would certainly be true - by comparison, my DS lite is nearly worn out after about 3 weeks!

Same here, I had my PSP in jan/feb played it for a few weeks and have barely touched it since, had my DS a few days and I have to force myself to put it down :D

Check out Tekken: Dark Resurrection for an incredible new PSP game. :)

As for the dust, if you don't fancy opening it up and using compressed air, try and get something all static'd up and guide the dust off to the side.

It's just another bloody version of a PS2 game. Getting sick of it actually, no inovation at all. Sony are going to lose this one.

Great if you don't own or want a PS2 though :D.

I have some dust behind my screen aswell, quite annoying but not enough to make me do anything about it.
I think I'll give it a few months and get a replacement face panel, then get rid of the dust.

Indeed. I love the Tekken games, but am a PC games player. Getting a PSP mean't I can fully enjoy all the console titles I have missed over the years.

what you can also do is get the bathroom really steamy (run the hot water for a while) let the steam settle down to nothing and you have as close to a clean room as you can really get, bit of a pain but can be worth it though
