An update to the PSP system software was made available on October 30, 2007. With this update, the system software is version 3.72. Features updated in system software update 3.72 include

Network

* Support for PLAYSTATION Network titles have been expanded.
* Support has been added for [Remote Start]* of the PS3 system under [Remote Play].

*To use this feature, the PS3 system software must be version 2.00 or later. For detailed information about [Remote Start], visit the PS3 Help & Support section at eu.playstation.com and select Connecting to other devices in the General Guides area.

oooh, interesting. adding support for a ps3 feature that we dont have yet..... ps3 v2.0 is so close i can smell it;):)
 
Yeah I think 2.0 is right around the corner but I don't think it's going to be as big an update as people think, but hey lets wait and see ;)
 
Version 2 firmware was supposed to come out about the same time as home, I guess this is why 2.0 was supposed to be so special as it would bring home and also things like access to the XMB etc in game, but now as home is delayed till early 08 i doubt we will see XMB in game until home arrives. But who knows lol!
 
i worked out how to turn the ps3 on and activate remote play with the sixaxis with the TV off - and then off again, so that I could browse the web with my PSP without moving from bed. :)

You do know you don't need to have the PS3 on to get to the net on the PSP don't you?
