Psp Frimware upgrade

hello,

am started to update the frimware on my psp and half way in to it i crashed / went off and now it wont come on is there anyway to repair this?

Was it an official sony firmware ? Does the PSP have any warranty left ?

Sounds like it's bricked. If it's still in warranty, take it back to the shop where you got it or contact sony.

You can fix it with a "Pandora Battery" but it's probably best to take the official route if it has warranty left.

google is your friend, but I don't understand how someone can have a PSP long enough to run out of warranty without knowing what pandora's battery is. Have you been using it as a paperweight or something?

Pandora Battery is extremely useful, it may have orginated from pirates but the battery itself can help everyone.

I have had a PSP since launch and have no clue what pandoras battery is.

tbh I only found out about a few months ago myself, I use it purely so I can overclock the cpu so the games run smoother, makes a world of difference on the gta's for example, butter smooth.
