Just seen an advert for the PSP... not the Go, but the original.

I seen some Go adverts a few months a go when it first came out but in those there was still pictures and stuff of the original.

:confused::confused:

they stuffed up with the go

who wants to re buy all their games again ?

they should have made a UMD reader or something that you could use to officially copy your game, then sell on once you'd imported it.

But no, they make you re-buy the whole lot. Thats why the go flopped so much. It doesnt bring much new, but obsolotes your entire collection overnight. Way to go sony...

The only major problem with the go is it's price.

Should have made it cheaper than the regular PSP imo.

The only place i have seen it was in the carphone warehouse

Bought a Go recently, 2nd hand for £140. Don't mind paying that for it but I just can't find any games taht I really want. I keep buying PS1 games which makes me think spending £140 to play them is a bit pointless!

I'm pretty certain that PSP Go wasn't marketed/aimed towards existing PSP pwners. It was to entice people who don't currently have a PSP and prefer not carrying round a load of disks. I definitely prefer the Go over the older PSP's but as I said, the lack games is making me think again.

I think the Go is also quite a bad idea, its obvious that sony are testing the market for downloading games from their PSN store.

I got a psp2000 and barely use it for games due to not enough quality, and at least i can trade in the old titles that are on umd when i need funds to get something else.

too bad if you purchase a psn game and its rubbish your stuck with it and at least you pay the same price but with no box or manual.

oh whats that? smaller screen on the GO, pftt whats the point really

I bought a PSP-2000 about 18 months ago and it has had next to no use what so ever, and the reason for that is that it has to be the most uncomfortable handheld ever made. I played Assassins Creed Bloodlines recently and my thumb was aching so much from the analogue stick after 30mins that I just had to stop playing. Who ever designed that analogue stick needs the sack tbh, since it had ruined for me an otherwise decent handheld.

Another minor annoyance is the power switch location, everytime I go to adjust my hand position I sometimes switch the damn thing off. It would be fine if you could just put the switch into the hold position to stop it from moving, but that just stops the buttons from responding for some bizarre reason.

It's not a bad Idea, just implemented wrong.

-Download costs even more than a UMD version would cost
-Old UMD versions become useless
-Massive Price Hike, I bought my PS3 for the same price as the Go

If they let you send atleast 4-5 UMD games to Sony for a download code, or had a UMD installer then it might have been atleast a viable product.

I would seriously consider buying it if the price was lower.
