PSP Memory card size limit - 4GB or 8GB?

Hey,

Having just picked up a PSP pretty much new for £50 I need to pop a memory card in it to unlock the potential! (and actually properly update it and save games

)

However what is the memory card size limit? I have seen some great prices on 8GB Memory Stick Duos, but have read occassionally read that there is a 4GB limit.

As there are many people on here with PSPs - which one is it folks? My google skills have failed me today.

I think it's fine with the newer firmwares.

I think they upped the limit with firmware 2.81. In theory, it can read the biggest Memory Stick defined by its spec which is 32GB.

Just for the record, I have a PSP slim, running the latest firmware, and an 8gb memory stick.
