Sorry to start a new thread for this but I am seeking advice as to what the 'must buy' games are for the PSP.

Just got hold of a nice white one off a mate for £120 second hand including pro evo 5 and super monkey ball.

Am deffo going to get GTA, now looking for other games to add to the collection :)

Thanks in advance

Socom Fire Team Bravo

And i have heard siphon filter is a must buy thats out in the next few weeks

Well if your into car games much Id rec WRC, Ridge Racer and Wipout Pure in that order. The last 2 I would assume are cheap as chips now.

Daxter is also a nice fun little game when you want a change. GTA LCS is just a classic, GTA in the palm of your hand

Tekken Dark Ressurection is deffo a must ! although it's not out over here yet until 15th sept

Daxter is a very good game, with loads of gameplay variations and challenges

SOCOM is a good game, but i found the single player to be to easy and very short

Locoroco is quirky and is lots of fun

Burnout Revenge is a stonking game and will give you hours of play

i recently got "Midway arcade treasures" of ebay and it has mortal kombat 1, 2 & 3 on it !! as well as a host of old arcade shooters, definatley worth getting imo

Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter - Dark Mirror are both brilliant games, just the type of games that should be played alone in the dark with headphones on !

hope thats gets you started ;)

I'd reccomend getting the metal gear acid's, if you can get rounf the "omg it's a card game omg" then they are both fantastic tbh.

Everybodys gold will keep you busy for hours

PSP games that have kept me busy since Christmas (it gets used all the time):-

Burnout Legends
- Great for pick up and play, just play a single race here and there)
Everybody Golf - One of the best Golf games I've played, but avoid if you don't like golf games
GTA - Really impressed by what they fitted into this version but prefer playing it on the PC rather than a handheld
Loco Roco - Crazy game that’s completely different and addictive
Megaman Powered Up - Old school type platformer with upto date graphics, enjoyed it a lot
NFS Most wanted - Another racer which I enjoyed playing, start to finish
SSX On Tour - Impressive port of this and plays well on the PSP for short blasts
Worms Open Warfare - Worms at it's best and completely addictive, time flys by playing this.

Also got to play Tekken at the weekend and was blown away how much they have managed to fit into the PSP version.

have to agree with you there about tekken. my ex manager at gamestation now works for sony as a rep brought it over to demo it
i was blown away when i first set eye's on it, trully amazing
all the combo's are there, 20 + fighters .only thing missing is online play

id recemond downgrading to 1.5 version, google downgrader. That way you cn have lots of emu's aswell, aslong as you own the consoles and games of course ;)
