PSP on mains?

Im still waiting for my PSP to arrive but just wanted to check, can you use it while plugged into the mains?

So if your just sat next to a plug socket you dont need to waste the battery..?

You can nuse it on the mains, I sometimes do when it is charging, but I try to avoid it simply because where the adapter goes into the psp, its right on the corner and it sticks out so it annoys me by getting in the way. Thats just a personal thing though.

You actually get one extra brightness setting when using the mains too.

One more thing..these unbranded high capacity batteries that are around, 3600mah etc..do they last as long as youd expect compared to the standard 1800mah battery?

They should last 2x as long no matter what cheapo brand they are.
