i dont know whether this thread has been started before, sorry if it has but here goes. i been thinking for a while now 2 buy a psp but not sure if it's a good idea because there no games that stand out and every1 going on about how good the nintendo ds is, i do like the style off it but i am in a bit of a muddle on if its a good idea, i already have a ps3 and enjoy gaming on that
what should i do?
also what good game are there on the psp?

Psp is a good handheld but it depends on what kind of gaming you like to do. the great thing about having a Psp is that you can sync up to ** ps3 and you can stream ps games to it. UMD's are good aswell though i don't have many. im currently looking forward to final fantasy 7: crisis core which should be amazing.

I don't really play on mine at all - a lot of the PSP games are watered down versions of PS2/PS3 titles. Then there are a lot of PSP games that are being done for PS2. If you have a PS3 you will be able to play those. The PSP is all right if you like Playstation gaming on the go but for me I prefer to have the same experiences on a big screen with the PS2/PS3. The DS was a better choice for me.

The only good thing is the Remote Play feature if you have a PS3. Otherwise I prefer watching movies/Internet browsing/listening to music on my iPod touch.

The PSP might set fire to your leg, careful ;).

I have both handhelds, but don't really play either, the PSP is good if you have a PS3 though, as the Remote Play works well.

Manhunt 2!

PSPs are quality with cf you can do so much stuff! Nothing like playing Super Mario All Stars on the bog but If you own a PS3 you probably wont want to play current games as much as they generally lack some of the depth/gfx in comparison to the bigboy consoles! If you travel (out of a car) then theyre defiantly worth getting as mine keeps me well occupied on long train journeys to and from uni.

It totally depends on what type of games you want to play. Personally, I prefer to play simple puzzle or RPG type games on a handheld console (tetris, brain training, zelda etc) and shooters or racing games on a pc or big console. Between myself and my boyfriend, we had one PSP and two DS Lites, but the PSP didn't get any use at all so it was sold, whereas we both still play DS games.

If you want a miniature Playstation, then go for the PSP. I didn't really rate it for watching UMDs, mainly because the screen is really small. If you want puzzle games though, go for the DS.

The DS also offers something different with the stylus and touch screen control scheme. It makes playing puzzle games more fun that having to use the analogue stick and buttons. I'm going to get EXIT on DS rather than PSP and I'm really looking forward to Viva Pinata DS.

However, Loco Roco is brilliant and the new one, Patapon, looks to be just as good. Both are PSP exclusives.
