Looking for suggestions for PSP games. Looking for unique titles, puzzle or quick arcade type games. Preferably older (and therefore cheaper) games.

I'd agree with Nokkon about God of War, it's an essential PSP purchase.

I picked up Daxter months ago, but didn't get into it.*

I'm currently playing through Ratchet and Clank - Size Matters, and enjoying it... was cheap too :)

I also picked up Space Invaders Extreme last week, which I'm finding particularly addictive.

I also love the Pursuit Force games on the PSP.

* I'll give it another try after Ratchet and Clank... I bought both at the same time, and because I liked the PS3 R&C game so much, I didn't really give Daxter much of a chance.

EDIT: and Patapon is just far more fun that it should be ;) Note, if you import it, it's half the price (or less) of UK prices.
EDIT2: and I'm loving Burnout Dominator on the PSP, so that's one to look out for if you like Burnout games (and is also cheap these days)

Think I will pick up Ratchet and Clank, Daxter and the Metal Slug Anthology.

Looking at that Echochorme, Patapon and LocoRoco. They all look fairly interesting.

I like the idea of a new Space Invaders game, but is it worth the extra money over some arcade pack with it?

EDIT: Will pick up God of War when I am through 1 and 2 on PS2

I am playing through crisis core and god of war at the moment, both brilliant games,


i am actually very surprised by how good some psp games are
 
Wipeout Pure - Original and best
Wipeout Pulse - Sequal, not quite as good
Ridge Racer - Good fun. RR2 is just RR with more tracks, avoid
Everybodys Golf - Adictivly fun
Mercury - Puzzle-tastic
Mercury Meltdown - More Puzzle-tastic
Lumines - Addictive as hell tetris style puzzle
Lumines 2 - More of the same, with official music
Exit - Very clever puzzle game
Gripshift - Racing/Platformer thing, good fun
Lego Star Wars - Star wars in Lego
Lego Star Wars 2 - More Star Wars in Lego
Loco Roco - Crazy wierd fun puzzle thing
Worms Open Warfare - Proper old school 2d worms
Worms Open Warfare 2 - And more of the same.
Lemmings - Lemmings, as you would expect lol
