PSP/W800i Duo compatibility?

Hey all,

I've got a PSP with a 32mb card and a Sony Ericsson W800i with a 512mb card. I would quite like to put some video clips on my 512 stick and view them on the PSP. I was planning on just moving the card around from one to the other as needs be but the card needs to be formatted for the PSP. If I formatted my 512 card for use with the PSP would I still be able to use it fully in my phone without reformatting it?

I'm sorry for the jumble of that but I hope somebody understands what I am getting at.

Yes, I would have thought you would be able to. Both Sony Devices, both read formatted Sony Media.

I have both a PSP and a W800i.

When I put the card from my W800i in my PSP, none of the music shows up. I thought it would be OK as they're both SONY devices but apparently not.

You need to observe the directory structure on the memory card, it won't just work if they're anywhere.

Afaik the memory sticks are just formatted in fat.
