Just been given a PSP base pack so looking at what to buy for it. So far i've thought of a memory stick and a usb cable (will a normal mini usb->usb work ok?). Also a screen protector and maybe a case.

Anything else i should consider?

Thanks

Yeah, I'd recommend a playgear pocket and a screen protector (pref. a Hori one). A mini USB -> USB cable will be fine.

Headphones, Hori screen protector, and a usb cable are essentials.

Other than that a nice 1gb+ memory stick and a charging cradle are quite nice extras to get, dont worry about a hard case, i find the supply one is pretty good, just gotta be a little bit carefuller, but least it still fits in your pocket (just)! :D

Not got a screen protector here, so far so good with looking after my PSP! But the most useful accessory I could recommend would be a USB/Charge cable. Basically a standard USB connection cable with a split wire to a separate power plug, this lets you charge your PSP from any USB slot (no power adaptor needed).

If you like to play for hours and hours on end, an extra battery might be a good idea. You could be enviro-friendly and get one of them solar panel rechargers that go into the DC plug.. although you might need to leave the country for some sun :D
