I still don't see the point a consumer would want this over a psp slim. This psp go works out better for Sony (harder to hack) but not for us.

I think all these social networking, ipod, iphone type people will love it, I am sure Sony want a piece of that market (someone said some sort of app store may be on PSP GO!).

People are paying over £200 notes for iPod Touch and iPhone. Games on there last less than 1 hour before your battery dies, and most apps are novelties that get used a few times. This could be similar, but with better games and worse apps.

p.s. Is he showing off a white version to annoy people or will you actually be able to buy them, day 1?

Gotta say that I like the look of it, and if it was £20-30 more than the 3000 I'd probably pick one up, but that price is just prohibitive!

I like it. I would prefer to just be able to put all my games on internal storage (I know the slim gets a memory card but it's limited in size a bit currently).

It's going to depend on launch price and special offers tbh. If it's too much I will just drop the idea and get a Slim, I don't like it THAT much. ;)

Ugh, it gets worse, no mini usb port?!

I'm willing to overlook that if they provide EVERYTHING required to connect it to a PC in the box, the fact it allows for component out through the same socket is great but if you end up having to pay extra for basic functionality it's a joke indeed.

Im sure its been answered, but is the only way to get games on the PSPGo though the PSN store on the console itself?

Will that not mean full price RRP all the time? I.e. no pre-owned or bargain bin games since its all digital?

The thing that gets me is that you can still use a mini USB port to output more than just data, it's just a case of adding the software to facilitate the cabling.

I'm also not a fan of that glittery white Go, looks cheap and nasty. Would have preferred them to go with the same kind of white finish as the 2000's etc... Maybe it's only a prototype though?

Yes and yes, Sony loves you... Oh wait...

Bingo. UMD games will still come out for those that don't own a pspgo. But if you only own a pspgo, you can only get games online.

Ah i see. I was all for digital downloads, but kinda after seeing the 360 Games On Demand at £20 each and the PSPGo games being full RRP, its becoming less attractive to me. Hmm time will tell i guess.

I'd actually like to buy one but I'm not doing that for download only. I still want to buy my games retail, I can understand the Game Companies & Distributors for not approving the practices of shops that offer trade in/used games as they don't get any money out of that, however, forcing download only is not good for the gamers as it will stop competition and dictate prices.. I never buy used games or trade in so if the game companies stopped that side of the market it would not bother me, but I disagree with the download only.. maybe retailers are putting themselves out of business by selling used games..

I don't really see why the industry has such a problem with second hand merchandise, it's something that has been going on in every form of retail since the beginning.

I have the PSP Go Cam which uses the Mini Usb how would I connect it to the PSP Go? Also I think the SatNav upgrade uses the Mini Usb. So people will be paying more and getting less.......

I am fairly sure they said you need to buy new peripherals, but I dunno if they announced the 2 you got!!! It is annoying how much they are shafting early adoptors. New memory sticks, new cables, new peripherals. :(
